I arrived early Wednesday going through London Heathrow. The first leg of the trip was a relaxed blessing sitting next to a pastor from Ilinois who had been living the last 12 years in Ireland planting Evangelical churches . We had wonderful fellowship and vibrant discussions for several hours. The last part of the trip was crammed full of people and not a pleasant ride (even on British Airways) but I arrived! Waited over an hour and a half to get my bags from customs and then another hour and a half to change currency. Pastor Abraham thought something happened to me since I didn't come out until everyone else had departed.

After a long train ride (A/C car, yeah!) we made it to Eluru, Andhra Pradesh, India. I came to learn that God has blessed us with a newly acquired 3 story building on our adjacent property that we have expanded for more classrooms, offices, library, and more dorm space. WE could now accomidate 200-300 students per year. Plus we're starting a school to teach the local population English as a government acredited course. There is still plenty of room to build the orphanage Abraham is praying for. Picture in album.

The top of the sanctuary is about 40' above ground and you can see that with a 30' mast atop that building we would be higher than any terrain until you get to the mountains to the west. The government officials are coming next week to review us for our "educational" am/fm radio licenses. Instead of one large 50K watt station that we would have to broadcast Muslim and Hindu messages. They have offered to give us maybe four 300-1000 watt am/fm "educational" licenses (these are worhtless to the governement for their purposes). We are praying that the original station will be the base for a series of repeater stations ala CSN style. We pray the Lord will bring the gifted peopele along side to setup a network like this. Lord willing we are confident that the next trip in late February early March will be to assemble and power up the station.

We are teaching the Books of the Twelve Minor Prophets over the next few weeks (that's almost a Book a day) besides going in the evening to preach at two to three jungle churches. Abraham has a treat for me, since I can ride a motorcycle we are traveling next Thursday for a week on motorcycles to visit remote villages north in Orissa for a week. Please keep all this, especially these excursions, in your prayers as they could be dangerious. We will live, eat and sleep with the local people of this jungle region. I hope to bring back some interesting video.

While we were planning a "crusade" trip to Pastor Paul Ciniraj yesterday I learned that at the same time a mysterious fire started in the basement of my parents house (on metal shelves holding laundry soap and softner). No severe harm to my parents or their house. Praise The Lord! Satan doesn't rest for a second. And yes we are traveling to minister with Pastor Paul Cinraj in Kerala, Western India. He was the pastor that was beaten almost to death after my last trip, and th Lord miraculously healed him. Paul lead his Muslim and Hindu attackers and their villages to the Lord after God rained lightening on them out of the blue.

Also we plan to travel then to Kerala Theological Seminary and teach ther for a few days while ascertaining their needs before returning to Chennei for a improptu Pentecostal pastors confernece they are arranging before I fly back in late November (they want to get back tothe "fundalmentals" ie sin, Cross, repentance etc., and not man's message Jesus loves you, just follow Him. Pray for the Holy Spirit to give me the Words to speak to their hearts.

It was about 110F with the humidity factor high. We ate with the Bible College students last night (pictures attached), rice and spicy Okra type vegtebles. The poor can't afford meat or fish. Well film at 8. Got to get some seista while the sun's at it's hottest. A glass of ice water in my dreams or better yet a talk with the Lord takes the edge off.

First post before leaving

10/10/05

I am preparing to leave for a Calvary Chapel pastors conference in Finger Lake NY tomorrow. I will be presenting Radio India as I have at other conferences and churches. I like to talk about the fact that all believers are called to be "missionaries" the proper translation from the Greek is actually the word evangelist. While not everyone will go off on mission trips, or become dedicated overseas, we are all called upon to share the gospel with all the "lost' souls that are headed for an eternity in Hell away from God's Grace because they rejected His Son Jesus. We must remember the Bible says we are not to hide our "Gift" under a bushel but to "soul win" in season and out of season.

Next Monday 10/17/05 I leave for India. There are many wonderful opportunities ahead to evangelize and preach at the jungle churches, to teach on the Minor Prophets at Calvary Chapel Bible College, to share and discuss Jesus with thousands of Hindu and Muslim people all over the continent. I also look forward to seeing the progress of getting the government permit and establishing "Radio India Ministries" broadcasting. Life is a wonderful and exciting adventure if you turn your self totally over to let the Lord use you to His Glory. And all through this I pray "Thy Will be done"

Please pray for our mission and work against the evil forces that are out to hinder us. We pray we will be able to visit Pastor Paul Ciniraj who severely beaten (almost to death) earlier this year, and journey to Kerala Theological Seminary. I will keep you posted and with pictures (Lord willing) on this site. The time draws near rapidly to Jesus return, look around you and may He open your eyes to the "signs of the times" Maranatha.

Your brother in the Lord, Pastor Bill
